Five Best Places to Work Remotely in Lansing
Over the last several years, employees throughout the U.S. have been ditching the cubicle and opting to telecommute. Small businesses and individuals have become more likely to work outside of the office and work flexible hours. In fact, in a study conducted by Gallup, 37% of U.S. workers claim that they telecommute. Expanding your work space horizons can lead to creative stimulus, increased productivity, a more enjoyable workday and stress reduction.
The Elevate Marketing Co. team has spent many hours in coffee shops, cafes and basically anywhere with good WiFi. Like many other Lansing startups, Elevate Marketing Co. (formerly known as Klimb Creative) began with a small, workhorse team and no office space. We would meet with clients, create content and collaborate with industry leaders in a variety of Lansing locations which allowed us to get a taste for many different working environments (and caramel lattes).
From client meetings, to midday coffee breaks, we are breaking down the 5 best, locally-owned places to work remotely in Lansing.
