Social media managers do it all: graphic design, copywriting, photography, account management, video editing, SEO implementation, journalism, data analysis, and website design, just to name a few tasks. All of this work experience makes for a well-rounded marketer! The problem arises when a social media manager is expected to do it all at an expert level.
Here’s where we take a step back and a deep breath in. You don’t have to be a master of them all! You wouldn’t ask your local electrician to work on your plumbing just because they work in the home improvement landscape. This is what delegation is for. This is what teams are for. Our team uses the EOS Delegate and Elevate (no pun intended!) chart to categorize each task we perform. The chart is laid out with four squares: things you love doing and you’re great at, things you like doing and are good at, things you don’t like doing but you’re good at, and things you don’t like doing and you’re not good at. Even if your company doesn’t follow EOS, we highly recommend completing this chart to decipher where your strengths lie and what tasks you might look into delegating (in work and in life!)
Elevating Your Marketing
We’re here to work together with you, your company, and even your in-house marketing team. Each client we work with is completely unique. We work with clients across a variety of categories from home improvement to salons and boutiques. Each of our clients also has different team structures. Some clients have in-house marketing professionals who we work with on the tasks that they want to outsource. Some clients are looking to fully outsource their marketing, and we’re here to help with that, too!
We’re not setting out to replace your company’s existing marketing team, we’re here to work in tandem with them to support their needs and elevate your company’s marketing.
